If the donor switch does not have 4 way flashers and/or flash to pass, maybe. I've got a switch box you can have, it's a hunk of crap, but it is off a 98. The switches and wires are toast, the box is brush painted flat black...

Might be good for target practice.  ;D

What makes you think that anyone should/would/could know this?  You may very well be the first one that wants to do this?

One way that you could explore this yourself is to go to eBay and look at listings for both controls.  Very often the sellers will provide photos of the plug ends.....and you could compare the connectors to see if they look to be the same.

Sometimes you just gotta do your own research when you are going beyond the mainstream.

Well my apologies for thinking someone on a suzuki savage forum site would know this but yes I did do the eBay photo comparison and the left looks to be exactly the same and the right connector looks to be almost the same but I already purchased them so we shall see when it arrives in the mail!

Were you asking abvout the parts on an S40 Boulevard.....or C50 Boulevard....or M109R Boulevard?

As WD indicated....parts between the S40 and LS650 most likely interchange until they switched to the having a passing switch and 4 way flashers....then the switches and plugs changed.

Yeah I wouldn't mind using that extra switch and I'm not sure if will fit or not they haven't came in the mail yet I'm just going off the pictures but I know the left side will work for sure. But yes I wouldn't mind having flashers I suppose or i could maybe just bypass it some way?

It may be that the connector for the left wiring harness did not change, the passing light is an internal change and the switch only connects a lead from the orange power supply wire to the yellow high beam filament in the bulb.

The right connector, as well as the main wiring harness may have changed with the emergency flasher switch being added.  Prior to that there was not any connection to the turn signal circuit for the right control - so those extra wires have to be added somehow.

I will check the wiring diagrams in the Technical Section in an hour while I am eating lunch....I can't do it right now.

The 2006 control won't directly work with the '98 wiring w/out some work.
It will bolt up and plug in but there's a change in the wiring.
I did work out the change but I haven't done anything with it yet.

I'm thinking I might just sodder my connections to the Boulevard switches and just bypass the hazard switch and just have a switch there for no reason Idk yet

I looked at the wiring diagrams and it appears the clutch safety switch was added to the left wiring harness in 1995.  The right wiring harness had 3 wires added in 2004 for the hazard switch, and that same 2004 year the passing light was added to the left control.....but it may not have affected the wiring harness connector. (The wiring harness for the control has the passing switch connection made internal to the left harness about 5 inches from the switch).

I can't determine if/when the connectors were changed....but most likely the left one was changed in 2004 with the addition of the emergency flasher switch.  The left one probaby changed in 95 when the clutch safety was added....and I can't confirm if it was changed again in 2004 - but the wiring diagram seems to indicate that there were no additional wires at the connector.

I checked the photos on eBay....that didn't help much.
