Post by old_rider on 10/28/13 at 11:41:18

Well seen it pop up on the top and clicked to see what it was all about, and thought " now that would be neat to have". I clicked on the link and got it in the mail shortly afterwards.

My thanks to The Mysterious JohnH and suzukisavage.com

Now you just need to get her a cup holder to put it in while riding!

That's what the speedometer hole is for. Hit 15K miles, speedometer dies, pull it and have somewhere to set your beer.

C'mon. I can't be the only one here who's ever had an open container on his motorcycle...

That was one of the first things I did for her, I took the Cup Buddy off my Harley and put it on her savage. See it up there in the middle of the bars?

Yeah, I posted my homebuilt sissy and this pic. I added a one foot square piece of marine grade plywood (water proof) that I bolted on with "U" bolts after I painted it black.

It works well with the Kuryachn large bag as you can see, doesn't over balance the bike at all when full of stuff. If someone wants i'll remove the bag and take a few shots to show what I did.

I am in the process of finding her the "perfect" set of saddle bags and will move the blinkers down as I've seen done in other posts. Move them down to where the long reflective thing is above the license plate.

A friend of mine brought me this aluminum one that was stamped BMW & after cutting some off & bending the mounting bracket I came up with this that I mounted by drilling & tapping the siderails. Then she decided she wanted a trunk which mounted nicely to the rack after removing the sissy bar. Now she has all the storage she needs to use the bike to go to work.

Nice fab job  :)

I think it might have been versy that told me if its just her bike...why not move the storage box up closer and use it as a driver backrest. I might actually do that with the Harley one I have.
