I remember seeing a cover picture , I think it was a Popular Mechanics magazine that showed acres and acres of hemp. The magazine was printed back in the 30's or 40's. Marijuana would probably be a lot healthier than the narcotics I take for pain. North Carolina will be the last state to ever legalize medical marijuana. We still had dry counties not to long ago. Might still had some, I'm not sure. I just an old hippie and I never seen anyone get mean or violent smoking like I did with alcohol. I guess the alcohol and pharmaceutical lobbyist are succeeding.

Dont forget the oil companies,, they hate pot..Logging, too, 1 acre of pot = 4 acres of trees in paper production. TRees take about 20 years to be ready to harvest, pot, at least once a year, some places more,

The Goverment says they are against it because real pot could be mixed in with it and they couldnt hardly tell the difference or find it. I believe its just another case of the oil lobbyist doing their job very well.
