You can always find HD muffler on flea markets, swap meets, classic car shows. Make sure to get the HD clamp with it.

Or ask for T-clamps for exhaust applications.

There's clamps on eBay and Amazon.

You just tell her to cross her darn legs! You need to ride darnit! LOL :D you got the essentials bag packed? put it by the door? plan of escape? have you done practice runs??
Been there done that, hope everything turns out well!

Yep, talking about riding; checking the bike; short test runs; it's good to include her in your prep for a ride too, like having her pick up supplies & such for you ahead of time; it will all work to keep it in her mind that you have specific UNCHANGEABLE plans.
Be sure to tell her that you appreciate her helping you prepare, which will keep you safe while gone and get you back home safely where she can then "properly" thank you for being such a thoughtful, caring and loving husband.
  8-)

OK, so.

I got the muffler on.
That process sucked.
A LOT.

The ryca adapter doesn't fit the '13 pipe side. Fit the muffler side perfect. I did the steel can trick, and it's not quite enough. It still leaks.
The muffler side fit the ryca adapter perfectly. and still leaks a little.
The pipe mount doesn't fit great, but the rubber mount will make it work just fine.
The Whole thing is going to come apart and I'm going to use a muffler gasket or something to get it to seal.
Sounds pretty good, not too loud.
Re-jet coming soon. Maybe tonight?

I am pretty sure the RYCA directions for the adapter require that you trim off a bit of the header pipe before you put on the adapter.  Their video that can be found on the RYCA website shows how to use it when attaching the EMGO muffler to the CS-1.

Probably shoulda looked at that.
I'm not wanting to cut the stock parts if I can help it though.

My local dealer has the "muffler connector" in stock.
looking at the fiche, it looks like the gasket I want.
