Title: Need help!
Post by Boofer on 10/08/13 at 16:11:59

Just got myHarbor Freight flyer, but can't get it open. It looks likeI'll have to just buy another torque wrench ora magnetic tow light kit . I am typing on a 9" Proscan from Big Lots. Tablet, that is. Daughter got a laptop for school use, so I'm getting rid of the monster computer in the den. I really like my $99 tablet. This is my first message to the outside world. Now back to the HF problem.  :-/

"now back to the HF problem"

What problem Boofer? Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip! Climb on your scoot and shop in person! Just have a buddy standing by with a U-Haul truck to tote all your new stuff home. Problem that never really existed is now cured!

PM me for address to mail the check for the "consulting fee" ;)

My buddy would buy too much stuff at HF so he decided only to take his motorcycle, and buy only what would fit. The he found himself buying tie down straps at HF to get his stuff home.  ;D

I went today...  chalk up another free 9 led flashlight,... 100 zip ties, 4 way screwdriver, 3 set allen/torx folding dooda set, 6 cleaning brushes,... all strapped to my bars with a net bungee...

All 'cause I really need another flashlight  .. it's fee... :-?...
... (you have to buy something to get the free flashlight...  I couldn't stop)... :-/...
... almost bought a compressor... but my bungee ain't that strong... ;D...

You could just get a big horizontal air compressor with the two wheels on the back, hook up the magnetic towlight kit, and your good to go! ;D

How sad!  I actually got one of Harbor Freights  magnetic tow light setups for a Xmas present last year. I didn't even own a car or truck!

Don't take it off just yet...

... if your Mrs. rides solo, you could simply remove the rear seat (ain't much good anyway) and move the entire assembly forwards by a few inches (or more).

Try to photoshop the picture to see if you (and she) like the idea.

Who knows... it might really look nice (and more balanced...)

My favorite HF purchase.. and one that I generally a good many comments about:

That wooden chest is an $80 tool chest from HF. The idea works so well that others in our group have gone out and found the real thing, which of course is rather rare and very costly. I generally like to buy consumables from HF, sanding discs, wire brushes, anything I will be using once or twice and tossing.
