Title: Saddlebag with quick release Post by MichaelJ on 10/06/13 at 20:19:56 My weekend project: two quick-release saddlebag mounts for the Suzuki saddlebag support rails. I used 3/8" thick ABS boards, starting with a 8x10" size and saddlemen bags (Saddlemen Cruisn Slant Saddlebag - Throw Over - Large 3501-0307 ). The original bottom strap for with a quick r4elease for the saddlebag is tied to the ABS board and runs through under the support rail. |

Title: Re: Saddlebag with quick release Post by babyhog on 10/11/13 at 08:29:25 I did something similar with steel... Saddlemen bags also. Used fasteners like this, since its the same as were on the orginal strap from Saddlemen that the bags attached to. http://www.sailrite.com/777035_2_thumb.jpg http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx211/babyhog/S40/WP_000217.jpg http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx211/babyhog/S40/WP_001001.jpg |
