Hi I need to wire up my Rev counter on my Ryca style racer, it has four wires ( red Black and a Green and blue ) I assume the red and black are 12v Power feed, am I correct in thinking the green and blue wires go to the coil ?

4 WIRES usually means 12v+, 12v-, coil- and illumination.

There is a rubber bung in the hole for the illumination so I don't think that's in the equation.

Your counter is probably generic, try www.jpcycles.com type in part number 560026 in the search, then when this downloads click on instructions pdf. might help.

You might go to the RYCA website, or their videos on YouTube. They probably show you how to connect the tach.
