Do I have to remove the exhaust / pipe to pull the side cover off?  I think I need to do a clutch push rod change and am trying to figure out how much other stuff has to come off.

2 minutes, 5 if you stop for a smoke and a beer. 10 if you follow the instructions and don't have air/electric tools. 2 funny looking bolts, 2 regular nuts, 2 funny looking capped nuts. Once the brake side foot control is out of the way, the muffler nuts pulled off and the header bolts taken out, the whole pipe just rotates up and slips forward.

In theory. I took an angle grinder to mine and swapped on a small glasspack and custom tailpipe.
