Title: THROTTLE CABLE REPLACEMENT Post by nrausch on 09/16/13 at 10:34:14 Greetings gents! My Wife took a little dive on her bike thanks to a gravelly road under construction, and swerving to miss a giant pot-hole. (She's fine. Luckily was only doing less than 20MPH at the time.) So far I have replaced the footpegs, the mirrors and master cylinder mirror mount, the turn signals, and I thought I was done. I just noticed that the accelerator cable is a little shreaded near the handle, so I went ahead and ordered a new one from Bike Bandit. (OEM part) I just wanted to check in to ask if this is a pretty straight forward swap, or if there are any pitfalls or gotchas I should be aware of. Thanks so much! |
