Unitl I saw that new "amber whiskey" color that Harley-Davidson has on their 2014 XL883 Iron, I was generally partial to either basic black or basic white on a motorcycle ... that "amber whiskey" paint job on the Sportster though is mouth-watering!! 8-)

I like the Iron 883, not a fan of harley trying to rename the color copper after whiskey, I mean they coulda done it right and got some co-branding licensing going on with like Jim Beam or Wild Turkey 101 or something, Harley loves logos!!

They was gonna' call it Werther's Original,... but couldn't work out the licensing agreement... ;D...

That's the color/model of the HD they had for sale at the Honda dealership ( used) .. dern good price for it too ( as far as I was concerned $5k) But it was a consignment.. no trades.. no finance. I drooled on it a little.. its gone now.

Nice looker....for a V-twin. I can see that color scheme with Root Beer pinstripes or panel insets on a Savage :) .

I guess the 883(or any HD for that matter)does have the advantage of not dealing with the cam chain/head plug issues but that's not enough of a reason for me to buy one. From what I've experienced the 883 does not have anything on a good LS650.

I've been thinking about an 883 and you just made my mouth water, I think they are the sharpest bikes Harley ever built. I not in to Road Kings, Dynas, Big bikes Etc.

Yea I love copper/orange colored bikes with mainly black trim, good looking bike for sure :)
