I got mine off eBay.  You have to match the shape when you order - but it was the easiest and cheapest source.

The correct key is the Ilco X179 SUZ12.

The dealer has the blanks. I got mine for like $7 or $8. I know everyone likes to refer to them as the "stealership" but not all of them are bad.

here's another thought,...

Buy the long blank from the locksmith and cut it down to a size you like.

I doubt, though, you'll find a blank for less than that ebay one for $5.

Not all of the Savages used the same blank.....you need to match your key up with the proper blank.

Don't remember what the number is off hand but I got mine from the local hardware store for $2.49 including the cutting. Sure it does not have the black rubber at the head but who cares?
