Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by old_rider on 09/07/13 at 19:42:13 $850 no title? needs a little work? looks pretty dusty. I'd get the vin number off of it and give it to the local police to see if its stolen, and if its not make a reasonable offer for a non-running bike, $300-500 |
Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by Serowbot on 09/07/13 at 21:49:04 The Sabbage is rare... maybe collectible... I'd grab that up... Unless it's grabbage... :-?... |
Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by bobert_FSO on 09/08/13 at 06:22:25 Ya'know, that motorcycle has been de-badged. How would someone unfamiliar with the model know what it is? Maybe the owner has only heard the model referenced verbally and mis-heard the name? Its a wonder he didn't hear the model name as pileocrap. ;) |
Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by Steve H on 09/08/13 at 08:13:33 I can't find anywhere where Suzuki made a Savage (or Sabbage) in 1984. Guess he got the year wrong too. |
Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by Blinky-FSO on 09/08/13 at 11:56:25 Sounds like the ideal ride for Elmer Fudd when he is hunting wabbit. Good hunting |

This made me chuckle a lot more than it should have. ;D Maybe the '84 Sabbage is the predecessor to the Savage? lol |
Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by Serowbot on 09/08/13 at 23:52:27 I've heard it referred to as a "Cabbage"... When I hear that,.. I just want to flog them with a wet lettuce... ...That's an English joke... We "flog with wet lettuce's" over there... ;D... Just too close to a cabbage to pass up... :-?... |

Is that anything like "50 lashes with a wet noodle"? :P |
Title: Re: Suzuki Sabbage? Post by OldSport on 09/09/13 at 10:54:41 It looks a lot like the mine when I bought it. But I gave $500 and it had a title. Better off to wait and find a decent one for $1700 or $1800. When you have to buy tires, a starter, a master cyclinder, and assorted other small parts you can spend $1000 pretty quick. |
