Great job on his part.  And, I'd say he's probably well adept and using that weapon if needed. Too bad the stooge got away though.

Why is the security camera waving about like someone is up a ladder holding it? Prob because someone is. Staged scene me be thinking.

1st few seconds tells you exactly what you're watching.
a hand held cam videoing a security monitor.

Ooops...  I thought that was weird too, Paul...
I get it now...

The security cam screen is being recorded with a hand held camera...
That's where the jiggle comes from...
You can see the image go past the top of the screen...
;)...

Darn.. I type too slow... Versy got it... ;D...

I love it when Concealed Carry people keep their cool. That's what its all about, not killing someone, its protecting yourself.

I'd have pulled the trigger. Would be robber still had his gun in his hand. No way of knowing for sure that he wouldn't have used it even with mine in his face. I'm glad this worked out well for the clerk, but I don't think it's a good tactic to just assume that someone who pulls a gun on you won't shoot just because you pull out yours.

The cool headed clerk said the gun was never aimed directly at him. I don't know what I can actually say I would have done. I haven't had the training the clerk had. If he would have pointed the gun towards my wife or kids I would have shot him no doubt. Its a good story and I'm glad it turned out the way it did.

I am too. But the thing that jumped out at me watching the video was that although Mr. Alexander pushed the robber's arm down, he did not have control of that arm, nor of the guy's gun. He(Mr. Alexander) was not really in control of the situation even if he believed he was. There was nothing preventing the robber from raising his arm and shooting. I think Mr. Alexander was very, very lucky.

Mr. Alexander was confronted with an individual willing to commit an armed robbery. No way of knowing how far that guy was willing to push things. This could have ended very differently. Mr. Alexander should have pulled the trigger as soon as he had his gun pointed at the guy. Not an easy thig to do, I'm aware, but for Mr. Alexanders saftey, completly justified, and the most prudent course of action.

I am inclined to agree, O&S, He didnt have control. Ill never understand people pushing guns so close,,
