Al-Qaeda militants kill 24 civilians near Ras al-Ain

Al-Qaeda linked terrorists in Syria have beheaded all 24 Syrian passengers traveling from Tartus to Ras al-Ain in northeast of Syria, among them a mother and a 40-days old infant.

Gunmen from the terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and Levant stopped the bus on the road in Talkalakh and killed everyone before setting the bus on fire.

According to media reports, the attack was carried out because the passengers who were from three different villages in Ras al-Ain, supported anti-terrorist Kurdish groups which were formed recently to defend Kurdish population against anti-Syria terrorists.

Bodies of a mother and her 40-days infant were also seen among the dead, which were recognized by their relatives.

Syrian Kurdish leader Saleh Muslim warned on Friday that the Kurd minority is facing an ethnic cleansing by al-Qaeda terrorists.

While there is no end in sight to the bloody foreign-fueled conflict in Syria, another front has been formed between the Kurdish militia and extremist militants in Northern Syria.

Al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist groups operating in the country, including the al-Nusra Front, are trying to capture Kurdish territories and make them part of a state they want to create in the region.

Following deadly attacks on Kurdish regions in recent months, groups of Kurdish militia were formed to protect their people.

Anti-Syria armed groups continue to target civilians amid US threats against Syrian army and government which have made militants find it easier to widen their attacks.

Following worldwide criticism, US President Barack Obama delayed an imminent military strike against Syria on August 31, sending the matter to the Congress to get more support.

What does this say about the Right?...
What do know about their moral character?...
Their opinions are "to be announced" based on what action Obama takes...
This stinks of racism...

... and don't say "Anyone that disagrees with Obama is called a racist"...
It's the fact that they will withhold their opinion until they hear which way Obama goes... then they will go opposite...
They will flip-flop to disagree...
They want disaster, want a bad economy, want scandal, want anything to that will hurt Obama...
Nothing else matters...

What other group of people do you know of who strap bombs on their own children and use them as weapons ?

They chop heads off, we blow em up with missles all in the name of religion. We should attack only if they attack us. They should be left to their own affairs. Its not for us to be judge and jury. They'll pay one day.

I'm not proud of a lot of things we have done...
I'm not a blind flag waver...
...and I'm against unnecessary involvement in the Middle-East...

But, in this instance,... illegal acts of war are being committed... (I also know we've done some ourselves even recently)(and shame on us for that)...
... but, I don't think we should stand by, and let these people be murdered in horrific ways...

And I don't believe this evidence is concocted...
Because this is in no way to Obama's advantage... It is not good for him politically, and it's not in his agenda...
And I don't believe the Syrians did it to themselves...

Let them sort it out, we don't or shouldn't have a dog in that hunt. Regardless who wins, they will never be an ally to any western interests.

Sow you're right ,we've done it to but why is it Ok for us to do it and terribly wrong for another country to do the same. I bet if you took a poll the majority of people would want to pull out of the middle east entirely. We blow the place up, put in a new leader, same thing again in 10 years spending billions while our own country is going to Hell and falling apart. You know what making the same mistake over and over is. You wanna stick your nose in somebody elses family when you cant take care of your own If they cant live amongst themselves in peace its not our job to blow them up.Its time for this country to change and stop trying to bully the rest of the world. If we would stay out of wars and rebuild ourselves we could be a great country again.

I don't think we should be above it...
I didn't think we should have gone into Iraq or Afghanistan...
..and I didn't agree with torture, use of irradiated bullets, or the indefinite imprisonment at Gitmo...
I particularly think the torture offense should have been prosecuted as a war crime...

I'm all for staying out of the Middle East...
The only thing that gets me hawkish here,... is the thought that if these chemical attacks are not punished,.. they will escalate into mass atrocities that could rival Auschwitz...
The UN,.. and other countries seem to be willing to look the other way...
Maybe that's our fault for disregarding the rules of engagement under Bush...
America has no credibility any more...
We may have lost the moral authority that we once had...
Innocent people are paying the price...

But we did that with Saddam and how did that work out? Now it's 10 years later and it's like Iraq never happened, someone else using chemical weapons. If Iraq didn't deter Syria then why to you think an attack on Syria with deter the next crackpot?
