Title: Very different LS650 Bobber

I came across this looking for different ideas for my bike.  It looks to be of high quality, but man what strange ergonomics it must be weird to ride   :o

More street tracker than bobber. It has potential.

With so little clearance between the rear tire and the seat pan......I am not sure it could be ridden. If the tire moves up an inch the seat it TOAST!

Yea, wouldnt it have to be a hard tail for it to work?

I keep seeing this on different blogs. I really really like it...until you get to the weird rear end seat/seat pan thing. needs some rethinking on that bulbous part, but other than that(and the non-covered pulley) this bike is pretty sweet looking.

I've seen several bikes (particularly s40's) done this way, here lately.  I'm confused...Are these strictly show bikes, and are not ridden (never understood the point of having a bike you don't ride  :-?), or are the rear shocks welded to be a hardtail strut that looks like a shock?
I like the "look" of it, just not sure of the functionality...but I ride I a bobber that has no front fender, and not much of a rear one, so what do I know.  ;D

I saw a hardtail Harley Bobber in Newport, KY yesterday.....it had a sprung solo seat.  The roads aren't in that great of shape in Newport......and he was bouncing up out of the saddle enough to convice me that I never want to own a bike like that!  I want shocks!

The seat looks really far forward to me, maybe not but I get the feeling I would have to put the foot controls on the forks!! ;D

Love the look of the bike, but i doubt is is very comfortable or attractive to ride. Looks like you sit way up compared to stock.

i'm loving the look as well, but am more interested in the look of that rear fender/seat thingy after the first set of good pot holes (or less :o)
