My back yard is 30 feet by 50 feet, protected by two Jack Russell Terriers.  A normal So.Cal. back yard, swimming pool, BBQ, etc..

A nice long very winding road with no traffic because it's on a peninsula, when I only have an hour of me time it hits the spot on the bike  ;)

Well, MY  Back yard is around 10 acres of uncontrolled vegetation growing back from the trees being harvested.
But, to answer the colloquial question, Inmy back yard, less than 5miles, theres a guy who mechanics on hot rods, sells racing fuels & has a dyno & its pretty reasonable,,

Relatively small back yard with lots of luscious green weeds that does a pretty good job of substituting for real grass.
Oh, there is one small patch of clover though.  :)

Need to edit mine, the jungle is hiding 3 trucks and a 24' sailboat right now...  :o

Round Up resistant pigweed. Among other odd flora, like cat's claw vines and passion fruit...  :-?

When did southwest TN become extreme southern LA or FL...

I love clover, my wife calls it weeds and I yell at her "It's Irish grass!"   =D

Clover is my favorite lawn covering.  Some of the really good varieties will cover so well that most other things will not grow, which leaves a lawn that is soft to lay on, green and rarely needs mowing.  It's like a carpet.

A few fruit trees, flowers. Couple of go karts, a few bicycle frames, plastics from my scooter, mini bike, and fenders from the savage. About 3 Honda engines and transmissions, cherry picker, rims, and some other misc. stuff related to motorized toys. Don't forget the BBQ grill.

Wow, I'm feeling left out a bit here...nothing in my back yard to talk about ... all the good stuff that would be there normally is in the barn at mom's place.

Like Paladin, my back yard is about 50 feet by 30 feet, but in it I have an apricot tree, a tangerine tree, and orange tree, a fig tree, a plum tree, a cumquat tree, a pomegranate tree, an apple tree, a blood orange tree, an almond tree, a peach tree, a lemon tree, a quince tree, and a grape arbor.  All of the trees produce fruit.  I have to keep them trimmed and short, but they still produce more fruit than my wife and I can eat.  What a pleasure they are to see and smell.  Oh yes, we back up to the agricultural station for the University of Arizona, and their bee lab is just across our back fence.  No problems with pollination.

This is in my backyard:
I think the previous owner of my house used it for storage and a potting shed, but I put my woodworking shop in it.

And this is inside it.  I finally put the last coat of stain/poly on my latest project last night.
This has been in my head and on the drawing board for over a year.  Its for my bed at our camp.  I'm happy with how it turned out.  Not bad for an amateur?

A few pics of my backyard...with 5 kids we need lots of entertainment activities... hence the volleyball net, play structure, and playhouse. But we don't leave the adults out of the fun either...hence the firepit and adult beverages  8-)

EJID, yer backyard is bigger than my whole lot!  Mine backyard is only about 25' by 70', the lot is just big enough to put a house on and have two people walk around with their arms extended.

You should see the house setups they are building nextdoor, the houses are only going to be about 15' apart on the sides and the back to back about 20'. I'll see if I can get a pick without all the construction guys in the pics, they are laying the concrete board forms today.
