Today I replaced the rear fender side rails with rails from a 2009. I don't use the sissy bar/back rest and thought the rails looked unfinished without something in there. Looks much sleeker now IMHO. Also replaced the rubber parts on the turn signal as both were cracked. Now my turn signals don't look crippled!

Next, axle mount tag. Replace tag mount and tag light with a LED tail light under fender. Have a Corbin seat on order. In the future plan on replacing turn signals with bullet type off a newer model.

Where's the pics? You know once you've been bitten (by the mod bug), you can't help but scratch. Best of luck.

Ha ha, still looks too stock. Only people here would notice anything different, so far. ;)

Toroso be careful modding your bike will lead to hours upon hours of daydreaming, fiddling in the garage, leering at pics on Google image along with scheming to pay for it all............MUHAHAHAHA ENJOY!!! ;D

I would consider proper correction of a factory installed defect to be more than an "important mod".

I need to get my new brake/clutch perches and some new front brakes shoes ordered... that's a mod, front drum conversion... that still counts as an upgrade... because a good working TLS front drum off of a two smoke street bike is stronger (and 1000x better looking) than a single puck disc.

Hmm, maybe you should come to the get together T... we've got all kinds of mods to teach you... ;)

Maybe customizations would be more appropriate than mods, but anyway. :)
