Title: Legnth & Radius Of Header
Post by Rush-rks on 08/13/13 at 13:11:37

Does anyone know what the radius of the curve of the header pipe is?
Reason being looking for a heatshield to cover up a flawed header pipe just for a little better look.  The chrome on mine is pretty thin and blue job made it look good for a while but the discoloring is coming back

IDK how factual it is, but Ive heard that artists in China always leave an imperfection.
It satisfies the critic.
& it keeps order, in that nothing is perfect
save God.,
I had 5,000 blemish free ( on the header) miles. Sitting in the driveway, ( I was breaking the rule, I wasnt driving in the driveway) racking it off, lissnin to valves, I blued it,, I left it,, It Looks a Gooda,,tho it did tick me off at the time,
My Guzzi Nevada didnt make 20 miles from the showroom floor before the pipes were blued, looked Good,,

It took a lot of scrubbin and rubbin to get all that gold and blue off when I got it probably what got the chrome thin on it now because of that just made it start coming back in such a short time I am not going to blue job it again as it will thin the chrome or so it seems..will just live with it if I find a heat shield that will fit the header or most of it that will be ok too ::)
