Saw a documentary on the bikini island 50 years after the blast.
the islanders were permitted to return, but shortly after were evicted again.
on the island still remains harmful levels of radiation in various places.
under the water however, it has been completely neutralized.

The salt in the water, the chlorine does it.

The amount of radiation on Bikini was finite,, this event is ongoing. Hundreds of tons of polluted water are hitting the pacific daily with no end in sight. Seafood is being made poisonous, but not to worry, its okay to eat it,, coff,, coff..
The mist that carries inland off the ocean? How many will be dying of cancer in 20 years?

Instead of telling the truth and asking for help from scientist all over the world, they're trying to hide it. Thousands will unnecessarily die. The Japanese government sounds a lot like ours.
