Hey guys,

So, I had a bit of a scare this morning. As I rode to work i hear a rattle in the front end. I stop and check and find that one of my caliper mounting bolts is completely gone and the other one was loose and rattling.

I tightened the last bolt and headed to work. I am a bit worried so of course i took it easy on the roads.

Do you guys know the size of the bolt? if I can grab a replacement at a hardware store somewhere?

Ummmmm.......I think it is time for me to pull out the wrenches and do a little preventive maintenance session. You know.....checking the engine mount bolts, axles, handlebars, header bolts, and brake mounting bolts.

Thanks guys! I am scouring places to find Metric bolts.. not common oddly enough in a metric Canadian country.

I don't know what type of hardware stores you have up there, but I was able to replace most of the screws in my carb with ones found at Lowe's and Home Depot, just look for stainless steel machine screws

Look to the warehouse that sells to the hardware stores,
Threaded Connectors, Nuts Bolts & Screws. Call a machine shop or the biggest mechanic shop in town, theyll know where to go.
