Title: Cam shaft position/ timing
Post by Riggsja on 08/05/13 at 14:29:28

Ok everyone, I am pretty sure I just messed up. I had a recent problem with the little bolts that attach the Cam shaft sprocket to the actual cam shaft. The bolts backed out and the "C" bracket let go and got spun up and twisted around allowing the cam chain tensioner to let go. Now here is the problem... Upon disassembly I took out the cam shaft and everything without making match marks. Any ideas on how to go about reassembling with out completely screwing up timing? :-?

provided you haven't screwed up the valves or piston, just start from square 1...
