Title: Dyna Muffler Chrome Cover Siuze Post by Nailz on 08/05/13 at 08:26:28 I have a Dyna Muffler model 65747-94 on the way - it has the "rails" for mounting to the existing muffler bracket. What is the correct size chrome cover to buy to cover the connection of the header and muffler? I think it is a 2" x 7" but I want to be sure. Thanks! |

Title: Re: Dyna Muffler Chrome Cover Siuze Post by Todd James on 08/05/13 at 11:18:49 I used the Cobra 2" x 7" Universal Heat Shield. My stock header pipe is 2" diameter and the shield fits it well. There is about a 1/8" gap between the shield and header pipe. Here's where I got mine: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/13/118/31163/ITEM/Cobra-Universal-Heat-Shield.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch Here's a pic of my installation: |
