Title: Dyna Muffler Chrome Cover Siuze

I have a Dyna Muffler model 65747-94 on the way - it has the
"rails" for mounting to the existing muffler bracket.  What is the correct size chrome cover to buy to cover the connection of the header and muffler?  I think it is a 2" x 7" but I want to be sure.

The OD of the connector pipe is 1.75".....so that is the size of heat shield you should buy.

This is a 1.75" OD cover.  I believe this should work according to Dave.

I used the Cobra 2" x 7" Universal Heat Shield.
My stock header pipe is 2" diameter and the shield fits it well.
There is about a 1/8" gap between the shield and header pipe.
