But Seattle drivers can't hold a candle to the poor quality of drivers down here, watched a cop in his unmarked roll through a stop sign today w/o slowing down. And turn signals, drivers licenses, insurance, etc seem to be optional in west TN, as does staying in your own lane. And the speed limit signs are considered the recommended safe MINIMUM speed... >:( |

And we have 3 months+ / year where they really don't expect people to be riding (I do and a very small group of others are still on the road). Not with Progressive (I'll not name the company). Sad to say, my wife (on her first solo ride) did run into a parked car. They took care of the damage to the other car, I didn't have to lift a finger. Plus there was a $1000 medical piece they paid right out. So I say, insurance is a good thing! |
