Title: Re: new thumper? Post by wambr on 08/01/13 at 11:00:02 thank you guys! just at first attracted my attention engine... to think that he is one-cylinder. but unfortunately, I just could not see the place of the second cylinder engine... would look simply astounding! |
Title: Re: new thumper? Post by HondaLavis on 08/03/13 at 09:56:04 The engine appears to be a Harley-Davidson 1200, comparable to the one in the Sportster 1200 Custom. Looks like it's been converted to belt primary and had the oil filter relocated. Looks clean, but I agree with JOG on the themed bikes... |

I don't know enough about Harleys do know for sure.....but from the few times I watched the show I thought Orange County normally uses the S&S motors. |
Title: Re: new thumper? Post by WD on 08/04/13 at 08:31:20 Normally S&S Evo clones. With chi-com Baker right side drive knock off transmissions. Stuffed into what had the potential to be a nice rigid frame if it had a 140 width rear tire. With oversized glide front ends instead of aesthetically pleasing springers. All covered with enough scrap metal to make 3 Kias. |
Title: Re: new thumper? Post by wambr on 08/06/13 at 07:31:40 though I do not often seen Harley in my life... but the engine is not very similar with Spoty. (but I can of course be wrong).. just at first I thought that motor 1-cylinder have, and it looks amazing(it is a pity that there were "glued" another cylinder) |
