Title: Black means what? Post by Toroso on 07/31/13 at 06:52:24 My bike seems to run pretty good in my opinion. But I have noticed that the brake lever on the rear wheel has black soot from the exhaust and when I had the header off to change the tensioner, I noticed the port was black with soot as well. What does this tell me about how well it is tuned? |

Back in the old days of good leaded gasoline you coulld look for a nice dark grey color on the exhaust......but no more. Even my fuel injected car that is compuiterized and runs an ideal mixture all the time has a sooty black exhaust. |
