I made this rack from scrap metall and paint it with Hammerite.
Not most fancy but it takes a six pack beer :)

That is a tidy design.

How are the triangle corners held to the outer band at the back?

Everything is welded. Two new 5mm hole on the sissybar. For heavy load it should be secured to the fender.
