Title: Shinko tires Post by Toroso on 07/14/13 at 07:57:09 Anyone here riding Shinko tires? I'm looking at the 230 crusiers. Nice price. |

I've got Shinko 712's front and rear and I'm happy with them. Haven't had them on long enough to comment on how long they'll last though. Tread is a little different from the ones you're looking at, but the price is similar. |

Title: Re: Shinko tires Post by Toroso on 07/14/13 at 09:53:02 Good grip is what I'm looking for! ;) 712s are a little cheaper too. |
Title: Re: Shinko tires Post by Borracho on 07/14/13 at 14:34:05 I have the 230's on my C50, and the 712's on my Savage. They are good tires, especially for the price. |

Title: Re: Shinko tires Post by MarcosS40 on 07/15/13 at 03:25:07 I just bought fr. and rr. Shinko 712's about a week ago for my S-40 from bike bandit for $120 and change, shipped here to central PA. w/free shipping. Will be having them mounted and balanced in the next couple of days as I am starting a weeks vacation today. 8-) They got generally positive reviews @ bikebandit. Spent an hour yesterday installing the raptor. I was having fuel starvation problems 2 up under heavy loads(low vacuum) pulling the bigger hills around here. Also had an erratic idle. I thnk the vac. diaphram was leaking. Either way, It's easier to just eliminate the problem. It was very easy to do. Bought the raptor @ bikebandit too, for $28. |
