When my bike was stock it rarely needed the choke to start. I have a 57.5 pilot in it now and no spacer (atm, pretty sure it needs to be changed) and pretty much always need the choke out to start it. I don't think its a problem, but it does seem strange?

If it's not really hot outside,.. it should need some choke when the engine is cold...
