Title: I feel silly...
Post by Greg on 07/07/13 at 12:15:05

I ordered a new helmet online (none of my local dealers carried what I wanted) and I am wearing it while playing on the computer. I need to make sure it is reasonably comfy before removing the tags and stickers so I can send it back if needed. I ordered an Outlaw 3/4 helmet. It offers much more protection than my Daytona 3/4. Not that I was looking for that, but now that I know, I guess that's a good thing. From the front it looks a little taller but looks pretty similar to the Daytona from the sides and back. Maybe it is just an illusion, I don't know. The worst part is my cat is looking at me like I am crazy...  :o

Cats are gods. Peter doesn't need to do anything to earn his keep. I feed him, clean his toilet, and remove the matted hair he can't reach due to his, umm, girth. All the furniture is for him. Sure sounds like the world revolves around him.

Yup, cats are our masters...
We feed them, clean them, clean up after them, manicure them, make sure when they talk to us that we figure out what they want "cat: meow, meow?  me: you want food? want to go out? want me to twirl the string again? (for the twentieth time)
And of course sit some where else with the laptop if the favorite chair changes to something we like to sit in.....and can't sit in no more.
And what we get in return is....
Numb butt while sitting in chair with cat sleeping in your lap, but hey you can hold yer pee a little longer so they can get thier beauty sleep!
Numerous bleeding scratches from the " I'm through playing with your hand now!" No more petting me!
Lost sleep when miss princess starts her " I'm now officially a mommy cat and need a man cat to make me stop howling" time.
Lost cash flow when miss princess and the four legged thing that tries to eat her every five minutes get into a tiff and sluggo looses with a shredded nose that calls for yet another vet visit.
But it all pays off when you are lying there in bed thinking "crap yet another dang day I got to go to work!" and miss princess crawls up on your chest and lays there sniffing your nose and starts the " hey you, I really do like what you do for me  rumble, rumble, rub, rumble"
darn cat........just like a woman...... well almost......nope, just like a woman.....

Best of Craigslist...

Feline Lap Surrogate
This title says it all. I work from home and I need someone to sit next to me and allow my cat to sit on their lap (the cat is attention seeking, and has been decreasing my productivity as of late). This is a morning shift from 8am-12pm at $15/hr. I do not need anyone in the afternoon since the sun warms the window sill by that point, and the cat will prefer the window sill to a lap. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.

You must have experience handling cats, no allergies, and a plus for experience with older cats (mine is 18yrs old).

Just don't start making "blaaaat, blaaaat" sounds pretending to run through the gears and you should be ok. 8-)

Good hunting

Get yourself a free account at "World of Tanks" and blow up some armored vehicles while wearing your helmet.
