Harley sells the herd mentality.

Then they come to the NC mountains and they find that lean trim sharks swim in them same waters that they also are swimming in .....

Sure it's a slick ad,but I'm with OF.....just another pitch to all the lemmings out there. It completely misses the true spirit and reason for throwing a leg over the saddle! You "long time scooter tramps" remember that...right?....you know...being an individual! Same reason I rode Brit bikes for years instead of Hurleys and why I ride the savage now!

Yeah...kinda the same reason that no matter how far it is to the destination, I want to ride all the way (and i'll keep doin' it till I can't). Pack up what I think I need and hit the road. If I get wet, cold. hot, sunburned....oh well, and it really doesn't matter to me what model or make it, is or how big.... the ride is what it is.
But the commercial is kinda kewl.... we could do one like it for suzuki S40.... with all the different styles you can make outta it ridin' behind the test rider.

I like the ad.

But its not what I am going for. Its not the 10,000 squeaky clean HD queens that impress me... its that one lone dude that pulls up on his totally dirty ... rode hard.. and put up wet bike. The guy that when he "finally" puts his boot down on the ground... you swear the dirt falling off of it, came from 2 states over.
