Title: fork seal replacement
Post by xxxBILLMANxxx on 07/01/13 at 17:10:51

hey im a new savage owner since i bought one last week and it was running fine when i got it but ive been breaking it down to build it into a bobber. my question is how to change the fork seals. they were leaking pretty bad when i got it home i already have the seals but all the info Ive found points to it being a tricky job. im not a complete noob when it comes to mechanic work, i work as a welder/fabricator at FedEx and my dad has been a mechanic his whole life so i can always go get him for some aid if needed. an explanation of the process would be awesome. my bike is a 88 with 11xxx miles.
