Hi

Just started this morning .
Starts fine.
Runs fine.

Shift into hear - stalls the engine.
Any gear.

Won't start with the clutch handle pulled in.

Please help

Sounds like you have a problem in the safety gear.  When the neutral light goes out.....so does the ignition.

Not sure.....I looked at the wiring diagram and it shows the clutch switch tied into the starter button circuit....but I am not sure of the connection to the neutral light.  It could be you have two problems.

Side stand switch could be acting up and killing the engine when you click it into gear and the neutral light goes out.  Try bypassing that first and see what happens.

Do you have a Clymers or similar manual?
Do you know how to read wiring diagrams?

Dave,

I think you're on to something with the kickstand switch.

I took the seat often bypass the switch.

That worked, then I plug the switch back together and the motorcycle started working properly.

I'm guessing the switch is going out. Probably should look it would take to replace that.
