I just closed the deal on a Second Bike ! The idea of Hydrolic lifters and pushrods sounds like a path to quiet running. Well the 1200cc sportster idea did'nt work out to good (the last one self-destructed trying to keep up with S-40's). So I'm sure this next one woin't keep up with Savages either but hopefully it woin't self-destruct either , couse its only 883cc.

Yea I know "But its a Harley :-[" , but they all can't be bad ?

Then what ? I would think "right click on the picture and copy" but the paste never comes up later ??? :-?

I've had 2 Sporty's, an 883 and now the 1200, both of which were/are very smooth runners. I've been pleased with them for what they are, a heavier road bike. For just going down the highway I do prefer the way they ride. The extra weight provides a more comfortable stable ride, but when it comes to fun riding on backroads, around town or especially the twisties ... ala mountains, our trusty thumper is the preference.

MM......I don't bother with the picture posting methond you are trying. You can post a single picture very easy by just going down the page a bit and use the "Attach" method. Just hit the browse button, search for the picture and double click on the picture in your computer and it will load.....then hit the "post" button.

Well let's see ???

4.5 gal tank , forward controls , bags allready on it , SunDowner seat , and only 7K miles , 2007 first year for fuel injection on Sportsters , Disk brakes Front and Rear , and Mag Wheels !
Going to Mo to pick it up Tuesday , :)

I love non-tater bikes , and have a really hard time resisting earges to smile ! :) and wave :-?

Well , at least the tank bag allmost covers the "Harley" name on the tank , mabby no one will notice ? ::)

I'm not letting you get with-in 1/4 mile of this one you "Hog Killer" !

at least for a while :P

I'm thinking the smaller pistons might make life a little easier on the crankshaft. Matter of fact ! I suppect the motor was built around the 883 idea and some factory hot-shot said "Yea, well that might be a real bike if it had these bigger pistons in it , Ha,Ha,Ha " So the 1200 version got hatched ? :-?

I'll hope to tell ya for sure Friday .
