Title: oil leakage Post by scotland66 on 06/01/13 at 13:06:03 Another newbie question. Sorry folks! My 96 savage seems to be leaking oil. Nothing major just a little bit from the bottom middle of the bike and a little from the left hand side fins (left when you sit on the bike) been a month now and I check the oil level regularly and all seems ok,  the level hasnt really gone down snd the bike is running great! Is this a common problem?

Title: Re: oil leakage Post by pgambr on 06/01/13 at 15:29:40 Mine did in a similar location.  I tightened all the nuts and bolts around that part of the bike.  On mine it was one of the bolt that secures the foot pegs / forward controls in place.  While sitting on the bike it was a 17 mm on the right and a 15 on the left.  That worked for me and I hope it helps you as well.  Best regards.
