Title: Endcaps Post by Ryan on 05/29/13 at 07:57:31 I picked up a set of bar end mirrors but can't seem to get the endcaps off easily. Before I go all willy nilly with a hammer and screwdriver I wanted to ask the experts if there was a trick to getting these caps off. Thanks. |

Title: Re: Endcaps Post by Dave on 05/29/13 at 08:09:32 Yep.....just use some kind of a padded plier attempt. Jut grip them and lightly rock the pliers back and forth while pulling away from the bar. |
Title: Re: Endcaps Post by Ryan on 05/29/13 at 08:14:11 Thanks guys. That's a much better idea than what I had in mind. |

Title: Re: Endcaps Post by Dane Allen on 05/29/13 at 11:45:37 I'd snap those things off in a day, do any other States aside from California allow lane splitting/sharing? |
Title: Re: Endcaps Post by wyatt on 05/29/13 at 12:02:00 Not that I know of. I do know for a fact that in Az the "fuzz" will pull you over in a hurry for this then remind you that you are NOT in Ca. |

If you try lane splitting here.....someone is going to toss their Orange Slushy or Starbucks out the window as you pass by. Motorcycles are expected to be a part of the traffic jam just like everyone else...without any special privelages. |
Title: Re: Endcaps Post by Super Thumper on 05/29/13 at 15:20:44 I got home one day after a long ride to find the end cap on the throttle grip was gone :'( |

I got caught up in the NASCAR race fiasco three years ago when all the roads leading to Kentucky Speedway were a parking lot. 6 hours in 95* sun-baked traffic on I-71 and the only things moving were bikes! Boy were they getting ripped by the cagers! If only I'd been on a bike I'd have been home in less than an hour! |
Title: Re: Endcaps Post by Firetox on 06/09/13 at 09:46:46 must be nice to have them on so well, went to work one morning and lost the throttle side one, then like 2 weeks later same ride to work lost the helmet lock lol |
