Title: Re: Wolseley Gyrocar Post by justin_o_guy2 on 05/30/13 at 07:36:26 Todays tires are lots better. Wouldnt it be cool if one existed to be fixed up!!?? |
Title: Re: Wolseley Gyrocar Post by jcstokes on 05/30/13 at 12:51:35 It may still exist, it was buried not long after it was built, it was exhumed in 1938 and apparently was in a museum in 1948, it did have retractable auxiliary skids or wheels for parking purposes but solely relied on two wheels for road use. |

Were they doing those "lock the front brake burnouts back then?" That mentality escapes me. I am not sure why holding a front brake on and the throttle wide open.....while the engine bounces off the rev limiter.....is any kind of display of riding ability. |
Title: Re: Wolseley Gyrocar Post by jcstokes on 05/30/13 at 17:44:16 I'm not sure if it had front brakes, most vehicles prior to 1927 didn't. |
