Title: Re: Old man rules Post by bobert_FSO on 05/28/13 at 16:19:03 Torque is your friend, especially for a short acceleration burst like in the video. "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races." |
Title: Re: Old man rules Post by bobert_FSO on 05/28/13 at 16:23:55 Also, the sportbike guy may not be able to use all his power without experiencing excessive wheelspin or a wheelie. The long wheelbase of the chopper is another advantage. |
Title: Re: Old man rules Post by mpescatori on 05/29/13 at 02:07:34 Hildo ? The Dutch Lancer... ;D ;D ;D I am more than certain that Hildo's ratbike chopper has forged pistons, a racing cam, and whatnot... Notice how he can spin his rear while SITTING on the bike... Also, if I am not miskaten,. he shifts into first gear... UP! That, ladies and gentlemen, is a racing gearbox (1st up, all other gears down). Hildo's ratbike is a wolf in sheep's clothing... ;D ;D ;D (And, I wouldn't be surprised if the Fireblade's 1st gear was long legged as 2nd/3rd gear in the Harley... The BOY never stood a chance, and Hildo knew it... 8-)) |
Title: Re: Old man rules Post by Arnold on 05/29/13 at 10:01:33 Does anyone notice how "Hildo" sounds darn close to ..... |
