One of my hobbies is flagging Craigslist scammers. I not only flag them in my area, but I journey thru Craigslist by randomly clicking on other areas, then clicking on “motorcycles. I then look for “motorcycles/scooters - by dealer”. These Scammer ads will not have a location listed or will list the location as “nearby”. The ads will not have a phone number listed. These ads are repeated thru out the USA and Canada. Not only are they attacking the Motorcycle section, but also the Automobile/Truck section. Sometimes they list cars and trucks in the Motorcycle section.

Below are some of the fake ads I flagged multiple times just this morning. If you care to help fight the Spammer Scum Scammers, use caution not to flag legitimate dealer ads. The legitimate ads list phone numbers.

I do not it as a routine.. but I have flagged a few locally. Just a month or so ago .. someone here posted about a CAMAM spider at a laughable low price. It included a pic of a yellow CANAM... that same add appeared locally on CL... so yeah I kept watch and flagged it every time... was kinda fun.

I will admit to looking at bikes on CL from other areas and seeing the same add.. but not the same contact info.. I then go back and flag all of them as well.

Craigslist is filled with scammers! I've met up to sell things and people have even tried to pay me with counterfeit money. Ridiculous.

I feel you about the fake dealers thing, when looking for cars... people always choose to do that and try and scam someone.

please feel free to visit colorado any area I have several adds all have my phone # and no texts or e-mails very time I renew a add I get several texts. every time :'(

I sometimes browse through the listings just too see what's out there. It's funny, most of the scammers claim to be dealers, list an odd email for contact, and the price is way too good to be true! :-[ And yes, I flag them as well.
