No that doesn't look like our neighbors.....we could not afford to buy a house in an upscale community where you have a back porch and a deck.

I can't be everywhere on the farm at once. Part of "modern" life is the "I want it, therefore I deserve it, and if the neighbor has it and I don't I'll just take his and make it mine" mentality.

We're armed 90% of the time on the farm. Lots of coyotes, feral hogs, there's been a huge black cat spotted more than once in the area, possums, raccoons in the sweet corn fields, squirrels in the pecan/walnut/hickory trees, and trespassers in the orchards/gardens/pond.

We keep one loaded with armor piercing for serious problem cases, hole the engine block and call the game dept.

When the hickory nuts drop the pigs come from miles around. Late July through mid-September. They're vermin, license not required. Bow, black powder or handgun?

Seen that pic before on FB, was wondering how much it cost for the metal stairs and base supports for them. And how much it cost for the crane to put them on top each time one was added. I'm sure it costs more to put them up than it did to buy them, maybe that made it cost effective in the owners eye.
