Title: Years plug cap leak is applicable

Did this ever get fixed by Suzuki after a certain model year?
I have a 2007 S40 with less than 5k miles.
At this point I don't appear to have a leak.
Will the problem be there eventually for me too?

They came up with a denser plug sometime in the early 00's...
Not sure if it totally cured it,.. but it seems less common in newer models...
07' is newer...

Don't worry about what ain't broken... ride it like you stole it... ;D...

Funny you say that...I almost DID steal it. When I bought it, it had less than 1000 miles on it. They lady had it in the garage for a few years unridden and couldn't get it to start. I brought some jumper cables, jump started it and away I went... for $2100
Got it home, cleaned the carb.
I think I did pretty darn good. :)
