Early to mid September. I'm thinking weekend of the 14th or weekend of the 21st at the absolute latest. Pecans start dropping in September. The trees are already tassled out, leaf break has happened, looks to be a heavy crop year.

So, week ending the 14th or week ending the 21st.

Choose.

Bow season for deer starts in August. Squirrel season opens in August. NO fall turkey season. Feral hogs are considered vermin, open year round. If you plan to hunt, it isn't cheap for non-residents. But you are allowed 3 does per day...

Local attractions within an hour or two ride time: Ft Pillow, Shiloh, Sun Studios, Graceland, Reelfoot Lake (fishing license and special permit required).

Motels are in Millington, Atoka and Covington. Rosemark is a "whistle stop" there are NO amenities in town, not even a gas station.

On farm we have picnic area, horse shoe pit, stocked (bluegill, crappie, bass, catfish and lots of turtles) fishing/swimming pond (2 acres), primitive gun range. Place is a mile deep...

I need to know by the end of THIS week, as in Friday April 26th, which time slot will work best.

Or I'm calling it off.

The 21st is a clean week with no Grandparents day, Patriot day or Yom Kippur entanglements.

I can do either, so I am voting a soft 21st due to lack of other holidays.

Won't be able to set in concrete, but 16th thru 21th is fine for now.

lookin' to rent/borrow a trailer, so if anyone wants to hitch a ride... that's possible too.

WD I'm a possibility and would love to make it but since my wife sometimes has to travel last minute for work, and she's had very busy schedule this year, I can't write it in stone. If I do wind up making it I've got my own tent so no worries there ;)

No worries. I need the dates nailed down this week, but folks have lots of time to decide if they can make it or not. Right up until it happens. BUT, if you know you will attend, add your name to the list in the main thread.

Cool. It is formalized then, arrive anytime from the 14th through the weekend of the 21st.
