I am in sales and have run across some very poor salesmen in my time. This guy is right up there on the "place hand on wallet and run like heck" list and gives my profession a bad name. Just thought you guys would like to know that you own "Poppers" and ride a collectors item. :-/

Yep, and at 16k, probably needs the cam chain done immediately. But he won't tell you that.

I have had old farts call my Savage a "Popper", and quite interested that it was new Japanese instead of an old Brit.

I've heard single cylinders called Poppers also and Thumpers and Lopers.

I looked at the listing....and it is close to me.......and that is about the nicest looking $ 1,500 Savage I have seen on the Cincinnati area Craigslist!

But his writing style makes me think I really don't want to meet this guy........or try and buy something from him.

I always love the eBay listings for something that is claimed to be rare or hard to find......and there are 5 pages of them listed for sale...and most of the time they want 3 times what the others are willing to sell for.
