Title: Rear Turn Signal Replacement
Post by conlime on 04/09/13 at 08:17:06

Broken rear turn signal. I can not for the life of me figure out how to take the whole thing of and replace. Any advice? I will upload pictures tonight.

It seems to be screwed into the chrome bracket under the seat that holds up the sissy bar.

Thank you.

Look at the attached microfiche...you will see a screw from the bottom that holds it into place.

(Screw #15)

THat isnt a #2 philips. If you start with a #2 & grind the tip till the blades fill the X, it will work, but this is where an impact pays for itself.

I also believe you will need to remove the chrome side rail from the fencer.  The wire is routed through that and there are 2 plastic clamps that hold onto the wire and don't let it slide out.
