Title: Adventure Motorcycle Riding Program
Post by ADVrider on 04/03/13 at 14:44:29

I started this thread at the request of a member who replied to my introduction post.

I ride an '01 LS650 in Adventure Riding TV. A Public Access program in East Longmeadow, MA. We are in about 14,000 homes. No profit being made, just doing this for fun and a positive motorcycle intro to the pulic.

I have owned many different bikes over the years and came across an inexpensive LS650 and have always wanted to modify one. My own mods, not RYCA (I like them very much, just like to do my own work).
I'll try to attach a pic, if I can get it to work.

So about the program. ADV TV is a program we air on access television.
Season 1 was a P.O.V. series shot primarily in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. Season 2 moves more towards action and includes go pro footage from Hare Scrambles, Motocross and URBEX (Urban Exploration) from Detroit, MI. Season 3 is currently being produced and includes ADV riding in Ecuador, Free Ride mountain biking, ice racing and URBEX in Canada.

Between seasons and episodes some shows are createdusing footage fom particular point of interest rides. That's where the LS650 comes in. I modified the bike to ride on fire roads and to have fun in the woods with. Sure it's ugly, but it is a good time.

Maybe http://youtube.com/adventureridingtv would be more internet friendly for non facebook and twitter users. Either way, thank you for checking out the program.
