I gave my two grandsons a chocolate bunny and a jar of jelly beans each. I told them that the jelly beans were "Easter Bunny poop". They ate them faster! ;D
I made a ham with pineapple and cloves, scratch-made scalloped potatoes, and a Caesar salad.Served with a nice 2011 Monte Del Fra bardolino. Yumm!
A nice glass of port with one of my favorite meerschaum pipes (Dartanion) and we're done.

You know that phrase breed like rabbits? Better question - do you even know what Easter is? It has nothing to do with Christianity. Did you know that Easter is actually a Pagan holiday celebrating fertility and sex? That's where rabbits and eggs come in.

Sorry folks - your Christian holiday is Pagan.

Ninja Peeps on Bikes... wonder when cartoon network will pick it up...

Ham is traditional because it was one of the few meats available in early spring. Salt it down heavily in the fall and hang it up to dry. Keeps for months (years in drier locales), with or without smoking it. Cut off the mold (flavor enhancer, think salami), soak overnight to draw out the excess salt, while the ham is cooking rehydrate your dried root vegetables in the water the ham soaked in.
