Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by savagerider95 on 03/28/13 at 21:38:08 hey so i lost my o-ring beneath that long circular thing and i was wondering about the size of the o-ring because i dont feel like ripping the engin apart for an o-ring |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by verslagen1 on 03/28/13 at 21:48:07 You're serious... right? |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by Serowbot on 03/28/13 at 22:44:32 I think,... you better... :-?... |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by Gyrobob on 03/29/13 at 04:57:50 Where were you when you lost the o-ring? |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by Dave on 03/29/13 at 05:55:42 I'm thinking the "long circular thing" might be the starter. That would be where something might drop if'n he was taking the carb apart while it was still attached to the jug. (The jug is the upright long cylinder thingy as opposed to the starter which is the horizontal long circular thingy). |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by Serowbot on 03/29/13 at 08:25:59 Ooooh!,.. that long circular thing... To get something out from under the starter,... just get a stiff piece of paper, and slide it under one side... it will push it out the other side... ;)... |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by verslagen1 on 03/29/13 at 08:36:14 or a blast of air which will of send get it lodged between to plate thingies. ;D |

Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by justin_o_guy2 on 03/29/13 at 16:28:26 Im not just real sure that people who dont know what that long circular thing is should be taking things apart that have O-rings in them., |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by Cavi Mike on 03/29/13 at 18:17:45 It took me a while but I think I figured out what the "long circular thing" is - the starter. As far as the o-ring, I still don't have any idea which one he's talking about but I think I regained my iq points. |
Title: Re: Carburetor cleanup Post by verslagen1 on 03/29/13 at 18:30:36 There's one common o-ring everybody looses sooner or later under the starter... is that enough of a clue yet? |
