the Regional Justice Center. A friend of mine was killed on his way to work. Friday is the sentencing of the man who was doing 65 in a 25 drunk at 6:45 in the morning. If anyone in the area would like to meet up with me and stand for a fellow rider, let me know.

Bummer, sorry to hear of your loss.

It seems every year as the weather welcomes riders out here to the island, we see this more and more.
Last year a guy and his girlfriend on the back, were killed when a driver made a left if front of them on the highway.....killed instantly.

I might have found it a little easier to feel bad because he is a young man, but this is not his first time to the court house.

"Cordova has prior convictions for third-degree assault and obstructing in 2010, according to charging papers. He also had an unspecified alcohol offense in 2011."

He learned nothing from his past and because of that, My friend is dead.

If anyone would like you can also write a letter.

write a letter to the judge stating why they feel Justin Cordova should recieve the maximum scentence for the vehicular homicide

Holy sh**.

I definitely did not expect to see the face of someone I'd met and talked with several times. I used to work at the Bent bike in Auburn, I'd talked with him many times when he'd stop to see if anything interesting had come into the store. Really nice guy, never in a hurry, seemed to really enjoy just talking bikes.

I think he was on the Auburn Teddy Bear Run a couple times too..

That young guy needs to go away for a long time... and when did .02 become the limit for under 21 drivers? When I lived out there it was zero tolerance...

Kent and Auburn both have a bad rep for street racers. Car versus bike unfortunately is pretty common in that area. Lots of high speeds, drunk drivers, drugged up drivers, just plain old negligent drivers...

He was an all around great guy. I did a couple thousand miles with him and his wife.
