So I bought another bike, the pic is not THE bike but it is just like it. 2012 Gold Bonnieville. Got to go to Raleigh Saturday to pick her up. It's going to be a long week.

I've been thinking of a trumpet for some time as a summer bike... When I saw the thread title I thought you was going Harley....

If it was an old Bonnie it would be all the way to the dark side... ;) I definitely do not miss Lucas electrical parts.

Nice back up bike.

Yep! There's a reason we used to call the lighting on the old Brit bikes "Lucifer" instead of Lucas....they were sure the work of the devil!

MS that is a sweet scoot! That was really my first choice when I got back into riding a couple of years ago but I ended up with the Savage and I'm happy. I will still have another Trumpet someday.....

I bought the Savage for price, but it had to look good, too. The Triumph still looks like a motorcycle. Good for you.  :)

Have mixed memories of the Bonnevlle that I have in HS.  It was definitely a love/hate relationship.  Later, I bought a Triumph Thunderbird Sport.  It was absolutely one of the most awesome bikes that I have ever ridden.  I loved it, but it was a little too tall for me to ride in the crazy traffic here in Tucson, so I sold it with a tear in my eye.
