Engine case cover or body panel? If it's the body panel, it's the exact same part from bike #1 through current. Engine side cover MAY have some minor difference, but any real changes would involve the inner cases, so the outers should swap as well.

I was wondering this too, as my left cover was missing upon purchase of my bike. I know the front belt pulley cover will interchange, as mine has the shift pattern for a 4 speed stamped in it, and my bike is 06 and has 5 speeds.

Look up the part numbers on Ron Ayres, Bike Bandit, etc. If they match by year you should be ok.
