Title: Air Filter Question
Post by savagerider87 on 02/23/13 at 04:51:46

I have a question about my air filter... Is there a way to clean and reuse the filter element?? I priced one at my local suzuki dealer and they said it would be around $40. Ive seen a few cheaper ones on ebay but how good are they??

If your filter is not too dirty you can blow it clean with compressed air. Just keep the pressure low enough so you don't blow a hole in it. Apply the air to the side that has the wire mesh on it.

Bike Bandit sells a replacement that's way less than $40.

The one I linked to fits a 2006, but I think they are all the same.
